"Paint your Mind"
I thought it would be quite apt if I wrote about something arty!
I am studying Fine Arts at Uni, so I thought I would share with you some things I've done this year so far!
At the moment I am on break but before that I did something rather challenging for two weeks.
I drew a JUNK PILE out of CHARCOAL!
And this is what it looked like....
As you can see, this is in fact a pile of junk!
A pile of junk I had to draw with a material I had never used. Although challenging, it was also great! You got a chance to get your hands dirty, improving your artistic skills, not having the upper hand or getting to 'take your work home'
It was cool actually getting to draw still life, which is a first for me.
Might try some more of that sometime :)
And in case you were interested in what I came up with, here is one of the five I did:

(bare with the quality on my photo's, they are all taken on my phone)
Sorry about the angle as well, haha.
The course I am doing is actually pretty cool and thorough with helping you decide what you want to specialize in!
You do six different subjects for two weeks in which you complete some sort of task/assignment:
Design
Film
Painting
Sculpture
Print Making
Photography
And then you get to choose two of these to do in the second semester (two terms) and then you should be making the right choice of what you are majoring in for the next three years!
I am thinking about Graphic Design as my major and either Film or Photography as my minor :)
Pretty exciting to think about though! Scary at the same time, but I was that one out of one hundred students who actually wanted to move on from school!
Anyway, thanks for reading about some of my time at Uni.
One last thing, which I was told on the first day.
Don't be afraid to do what you love and are passionate about!

Really cool Aimee! xx
